New Features
Folders. Organize Documents and Notes into folders you create.
A guided tour. Walk through the compliance document editor the first time you open it.
Improvements
A new design system. Financials, Add Client, Notes, the sidebar, and filters all share the same look now: lighter, flatter, easier to scan.
Readable, whatever your brand color. Text against your brand color always meets contrast standards, automatically.
A clearer compliance page. The per-document compliance page is easier to follow.
Helix knows the file. Helix can see a client’s compliance file when you ask it a question.
Suggestions that match the page. Helix’s side panel suggestions change based on where you are in the app.
One signing date per client. Each client’s compliance documents carry their own signing date.
Every upload, put to work
Advisors upload documents constantly: medical records, personal financials, illustrations. This release makes every one of them useful the moment it lands, instead of just filed away.
New Features
Document review queue. Upload a document anywhere in a client’s file and DNA pulls out the relevant details, then queues them for you to confirm. Accept a suggestion, edit it, or leave it out, and the profile stays accurate without re-entering anything by hand.
Helix reads your documents. Ask Helix about a document you’ve uploaded and it answers from the file itself, not just the client record.
Upload from the chat. Add a document straight from a conversation with Helix.
Improvements
Documents, at a glance. Every document gets a preview, a type, and tags, with grid and list views to match how you like to scan a file.
Compliance, in one place
Compliance touches every client file, so small friction there adds up fast. This release gives it one clear shape: one dashboard for status, a consistent signing order, and a way back when a request goes stale.
New Features
Compliance Dashboard
One view for document health, audit history, and recent activity on a client’s compliance file. Phases and documents live in their own space, so you always know what’s outstanding.
Evidence of Alternatives
A new compliance document, ready to send alongside the rest of the set.
Signing identity settings
Set how you appear as a signer once, from a dedicated settings page.
Improvements
Send for signature. Reworked from the ground up: fewer steps, clearer status at every stage.
One download. Every completed document in a client’s file downloads from a single menu.
Regenerate with the right signer. Choose exactly who needs to sign when you regenerate a document.
Live advisor details. Your contact information appears directly on the Privacy Consent, Fact Find, and Needs Analysis, always current.
Track what changed. The Fact Find shows which sections have drifted since a client last reviewed it.
Advisors sign first. On the Disclosure, Privacy Consent, Fact Find, and Reasons Why Letter, your signature goes on before it reaches the client.
Recover a signature request. Bring an expired request back to draft instead of starting over.
Notes and Fact Find polish
Improvements
Dictation in Notes. Speak your notes and they capture cleanly, with the placeholder clearing the moment you start.
Fact Find with many beneficiaries. Past four beneficiaries, each gets its own block so the page stays readable.
More languages, better documents
New Features
Eleven more languages. DNA now works in German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Farsi, including right-to-left layout for Farsi.
Note summaries. Long client notes get a short summary, so you can scan a client’s history faster.
Stop Helix mid-response. Cancel a Helix answer while it’s still writing, with the button or the Esc key.
Improvements
Document workflow. Prepare, sign, and download client documents in fewer steps. Edit signers in place, leave optional documents out of completion, and download a full set as one file.
Advisor disclosure. Includes the advisor’s phone number, so clients have a direct line.
Add Client. Clearer steps with better feedback as you go.
Deeper needs analysis
Improvements
Clearer needs analysis. We reworked the third step, the overview, and the final report so the numbers are easier to follow.
Collapsible sidebar. Collapse the navigation to give the workspace more room.
Documents during client setup. Upload supporting files while adding a client, not after.
A stronger foundation
This release was mostly invisible work. We rebuilt the layer that connects DNA’s interface to its database. It handles every save, every load, every update. Most of what changed sits below the surface.
Improvements
Faster pages. The new foundation responds quicker on the actions you do most: saving a client, loading financials, running a needs analysis.
Even more secure. We added stricter rules about how data moves through the app. Upholding even stronger best practices for data management.
Fewer outages. We hardened how we ship features. Less downtime, more confident releases.
Why we did this
DNA holds sensitive client information. The faster we can ship features, the more we can do for advisors. That only works on a foundation that can carry the weight. We spent this release reinforcing it.
A leaner, sharper DNA
We spent this release simplifying. Instead of spreading effort across many pages that kind of worked, we cut the app down to fewer pages and made them great. Fewer places to click. More polish where it counts.
New Features
Starter Plan
Advisors can now use DNA without a paid plan. We show limits up front and warn you as you approach them.
Sample Clients
Every new account starts with read-only example clients. Walk the full workflow before entering any of your own data.
Admin Dashboard
Billing, team activity, and member management in one view for organization owners.
Improvements
Assets and Debts are now one Financials page. One place to see everything that affects net worth.
The needs analysis flow runs faster and captures more useful detail: employment type, pension, group type, brand colors and logo, income values, nicotine and tobacco use. It now keeps a list of every analysis you’ve run per client.
Helix now has an improved knowledgebase, answering questions with more accuracy and confidence.
Helix usage limits are visible up front, with a countdown to your next reset.
We rebuilt the Settings modal. Clearer sections, simpler navigation, less clutter.
We reworked Team and Enterprise billing. Clearer pricing, simpler seat changes, billing that matches the rest of the product.
Faster, more cost-efficient infrastructure means snappier page loads across the app.
Fixes
Fixed routing issues when navigating between asset and debt details.
Tightened data handling across the client area to remove edge-case errors.
Improved deployment reliability so updates ship more smoothly.
